Massage will improve circu­la­tion and help your scalp produce more of the natural oils to keep the skin from getting too dry and gives healthy and shiny hair. Having a 5-minute head massage once a week can help your scalp restore a level of healthy oil production and prevents the dry scalp from reoccurring.

The first step to fixing dry scalp hair problems is to moisturize your scalp. The best way to do it is to use an essential oil like jojoba, olive, or peppermint oil.

Gently massage the oil into your scalp before and after every wash to hydrate it and remove the dry flakes.

Always use a natural clarifying shampoo once a week to end any hair and scalp problems. These deep-cleaning formulas can get rid of product buildup and will help remove dry and dead skin cells.

Make use of lukewarm water when showering. The hot water can take away natural oils from your scalp by making it very dry and itchy. Choose the lowest heat setting on your blowdryer when using it and use a diffuser.

Use Apple Cider Vinegar and water, and rinse after your shampoo as this usually brings out the natural color of your mane and removes any dry flakes.

Nutritional deficiencies may cause dry scalp. Get enough vitamins B6 and B12 in your diet. Boost your intake through fruits, vegetables, and whole-grаіn bread and cereals or through supplements such as flaxseed oil, zinc, and selenium. Reduce your consumption of salt and alcohol while you increase your intake of Omega-3.
