From spreading laughter to advocating for love and hope, Varonica's journey as a content creator is nothing short of inspiring.
What inspired you to start creating content?
I really wanted to put smiles on people's faces. Also, my mom and dad always thought I was just a bubbly person, so they recorded little snippet videos of me just being me, and it went viral. I love it because if someone is having a bad day, they can scroll past my videos, and it'll just make their day.
Your videos are known for their humor and energy. How do you maintain your animated personality in your content?
I have always had this personality. I just keep praying and stay humble, making sure that I am my true self and not being a follower. We also have a schedule. Every Monday, I make ten videos. My dad and mom send me videos to do, I pick them out, and the Lord just blesses me every time.
Can you share a memorable experience or moment from your journey as a content creator so far?
The most memorable experiences are the bloopers with my mom, dad, and my sisters! I love the bloopers because it's so funny and it shows that we are family, and we are having fun. It shows that it's not just always work, work, work. Also, when I was on the Jennifer Hudson show. She was so sweet! Backstage they told me how she loved hugs and it was so true. When I got on stage, I felt like it was a dream and then she surprised me with Lil Jon and I was like Oh My Goodness, but yes it was just a fun experience.
What advice would you give someone who is aspiring to do what you do?
I would say keep being consistent and don't stop. Make sure that you stay humble, blessed, and true to yourself. Don't follow a crowd but make your own crowd so that people can follow you. Keep praying and keep God first.
Beyond Instagram and TikTok, do you have any plans to expand your presence onto other platforms or into other forms of entertainment?
I have a movie coming up, sitcoms, and more talk shows. I am just waiting for God to open up more doors and I am not rushing it.
Tell me about your experience working with your sister and family?
I love working with my sister Danielle because she is very bubbly. The only thing about working with her is that she is a perfectionist. I'm like Danielle just be you girl, be you, you are good!
As a community activist, tell me about some of the things you do for the community.
We have a tour called VV Laugh, Love and Hope Tour, where we give out book bags with my face on them to the community to say thank you for everything, they have done for me. I also promote and give out free books dressed as my character Mr. Eggnoggin to encourage kids to read. I also do a soup kitchen and give household supplies and coats to the less fortunate.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
It would be to multiply myself or to stop time and restart it and also to see into the future.
If you could swap lives with anyone for a day, who would you swap lives with?
Jesus. I want to see what it's like in heaven. The only reason why I pick Jesus is because I don't want to be in anybody else's life. I want to see if I was a spirit in heaven, what it would look like, and I want to see my grandma.
